TravelAssist provides worldwide and inter-provincial emergency medical coverage to travelers in medical emergencies.

Imagine you are on vacation away from home, faced with large unexpected expenses and potential language barriers. Who would you call?  How would you get the immediate assistance necessary?

Through TravelAssist you have access to 24hr, multilingual assistance from coordinators who can direct you to the nearest physician, healthcare facility or clinic; or arrange transportation and help you with travel arrangements to healthcare facilities.

TravelAssist also provides Medical Advisors – for consultative and advisory services, and second opinions; Courtesy Assistance – for help in locating qualified legal assistance, local interpreters and lost passport replacement services.

If you are a registered member of the plan you are automatically covered and are not required to inform the office of your travel plans. However, please be sure you bring your TravelAssist booklet and wallet card with you at all times during your travels.
